QUEEN CAMILLA !

She started life as Camilla Shand, married and became Mrs. Andrew Parker - Bowles, became a mother, eventually divorced, eventually married Prince Charles but the Queen said first the couple would have to confess to everyone gathered for the ceremony that they were a couple adulterers, and the debate went on.  Would Charles, born to become a king, ever actually become King?  His mom, Queen Elizabeth II, who was one of the most admired women in the world, died less than a year ago and in very old age. The debate was over.  He became King automatically. And it was announced that Camilla would be titled Queen Consort.  That was good.

In a few days, May 6th, a historic event will occur.  Not only will the world be treated to a Coronation, a historic ceremony, with 2000 official guests from all around the world, as well as other entertainments. Camilla, it has been announced, will be crowned as QUEEN CAMILLA. The best!

A mistress will become a Queen in our lifetime.  I will be watching the event.   Missy

Camilla, Queen Consort, or King Charles III...

We all knew that Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain had a dynamic role on the world stage to fill and that she could not live forever. She passed the other day and I look forward to watching her funeral, if it is viewable to the public like her husband, Prince Phillip's was. With years more on this earth than most people get, Elizabeth managed to greet the new Prime Minister, Liz Truss,  a couple days before her end.  Now there is no question that Queen Elizabeth II's oldest son is the King, which happened automatically, and so all those years of discussion over his being punished by having had Camilla as his mistress while still married to Princess Diana is over.  In a year or so he will have a Coronation. It would be considered rude to do so sooner, when so many are mourning.

We Americans get confused by titles and changes of titles having not grown up with nobility.  I hope I've done Camilla justice in the past.  There is no doubt in my mind that she has been essential to Charles, who has lived a life, truth be known. few would choose, with so much determined for him.  Perhaps the only thing he has wanted for himself is to have a happy personal life with Camilla.

Charles has been a leader in organic -chemical free farming and in quite concerned about the effects of climate change.  I know that as King he is not supposed to air political opinions but climate change is a world issue and food, especially good food, is also essential to humanity.

I wish him well - them well - in their new roles!

I also hope Charles III will have a good long time as King to bring health and welfare to the people of Great Britain, those people who are suffering and who face a harsh winter in which enough heat may be unaffordable.

Camilla Shand, Camilla Parker-Bowles, Camilla - Duchess of Cornwall.  Not for nothing has she been featured here at MISTRESS MANIFESTO in May 2010 and April 2016 as the most famous Mistress who became a wife in the 20th-21st century!  (Check those months out!)

Recently on Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee (70 years on the throne), she made it clear that Prince Charles will become King when she is deceased. No, he will not be punished because he divorced Lady Diana Spencer.  History is history and life must go on.  I'm sure this statement from the Palace was designed to end the rumors that the throne will skip over Charles and go right to his son, heir Prince William. Of course, anything could happen as the Queen is seriously old and Prince Charles is over 70 years old himself.

Prince Charles and Camilla Shand married in 2005 and have been careful to publicly have a wait and see attitude about the throne and what her title will be.

So very many articles came out about the Queen's official statement.  And the statement which appeared in the Daily Mail UK and then other publications showed the statement on official stationery.  Camilla will be called Queen Consort.

Most delightful recently was the reveal that Prince Charles affectionately calls Camilla, Mehbooba, which is an Urdu language word for My Beloved. Camilla, called by Princess Diana 'the third person' in her marriage, is said to be a perfect companion for the Prince, who, in my opinion, could of and should have married her in the first place.  We don't always know it when we meet a soul mate do we?

This article from the Daily Mail also says that she will be wearing one of the most majestic Crowns ever made at the Coronation of Charles.  Wow!

Princess Diana wanted Prince Charles all to herself we've been told - though recently it's been suggested she didn't want a divorce, just to live separate lives and "partner" when needed.  Though Diana Spencer was raised in aristocracy, and must have heard that Mistresses were historically part of aristocratic living, she was a modern creature.  She wanted to be "enough."

The Prince's circle helped him have his separate life. They held entertainments in which Charles and Camilla were invited and treated as a couple, leaving Princess Diana at home or to her own life.

Sometimes a wife practically throws her husband to another woman. Sometimes she gives the Ok for him to have another woman in his life and a Mistress is preferable to sleeping around.  Sometimes she chooses. Our Mistress of the month for April 2012, May Fung Yee Pang, is said to have been chosen by ex-Beatle John Lennon's wife Yoko Ono.

Some wives negotiate their marriage with their husbands, but most often they signal their approval passively by continuing the marriage. Now some wives, who have prenups, may renegotiate the terms and conditions, but please - keep this basically financial, about responsibilities. I heard of a man who expected his fiancée to sign a prenup that she agrees to have sex with him for the rest of their lives together three times a week. How horribly unrealistic and anti-romantic.

I suppose Susan "Shoe" Taylor was a "hippie.  Clearly she shared a man with his wife.  What, if anything, I wonder does she have in Common with Bob Dylan's mysterious musical muse, also considered a hippie,  Ruth Tryangiel , Mistress of the month August 2012.  Or Pamela Des Barres, the famous Groupie who started out as a hippie with flowers in her hair, who waited it out to marry her British husband, as he had to leave a marriage first. We can take some inspiration from Camilla - Duchess of Cornwall, in that she is thought of as a truly nice person, who never has an unkind word about anyone, which is what also has been said about Bettina, the supermodel who was the mistress of Ali Khan, who has also been a Mistress of the Month here at MISTRESS MANIFESTO BlogSpot.

Have you ever thought about how minding what you say about others is a part of discretion?

How many times have you repeated something about someone that turned out to not only be untrue, but hurt them not only personally, but in their relationships and their career? Gossips often have few interests other than spreading information about others to enhance their own low stature.
