What does it mean to have class ?

Obviously you don't have to be born into it - though family reputation helps.

You can learn quite a bit without having had a parent raise you to fit into the upper class.

To me it's not just about keeping yourself well groomed and in clothing and shoes that fit, or being stylish (if not fashionable) in clothing. It's about having the grace to know when to leave a room or a relationship.

Missy here: Paul Mellon had a mistress who attended his funeral. I'm sure Bunny knew about her and she would not deny Paul his mistress. I admire Bunny for that!

Rielle Hunter is writing a "tell-all book." I don't know if I admire her for that or not; depends on how she puts it. Another article I found on line suggests that Bunny (Rachel Lowe Lambert Lloyd Mellon), hieress to the Listerine fortune, bought Hunter a $28,000 BMW and a $2,900-a-month home to rent near Chapel Hill, NC!

The king, who renounced his claim to the British throne in 1936 to marry the divorcee, showered her with gifts of jewelry throughout their courtship and marriage. Many of the "magical jewels" honor events in the couple's lives and are of great importance as both works of art and historical artifacts, said Sotheby's jewelry expert David Bennett."

I've been reading about MONTE CARLO - and MONACO where it is - and I'm convinced it might be one of the best places on earth for mistresses...
