I saw the article, I believe in the Daily Mail OnLine, that a property owned by CYNTHIA BECK, ex mistress of a GORDON GETTY and mother of his three daughters, had been raided and a huge catch of guns were found.
The property was not exactly abandoned, but the article I read did not figure her into this.
To my shock, when I checked on MISTRESS MANIFESTO BLOGSPOT this morning, I learned that my start page on Cynthia, who was MISTRESS OF THE MONTH here in January 2019, had received 6000 hits.
I don't research or write for or live for statistics. In fact there have been times when I reported to Google my sense that this blog was being dinged in certain ways and Google looked into it and seems to have blocked the offending party(ies). I feel that this months Mistress of the Month, KOLA BOOF and all my select Kept Women and Men deserve as much interest.
Since you can find these articles, I'm not going to link to any.
My sense is that CYNTHIA and her daughters might not even be living in the United States any more. They were recognized as Gordon Getty's children by him and due to the connection to vast wealth, I believe they may have been harrassed, but be it the unoccupied homes I live near that are broken into and used to be lived in, or Beck's homes, quite possibly all this has happened without her knowledge. I hope so.

2013 YEAR IN REVIEW : THE POSTS MY READERS ARE READING
(I decided to review 2013 based on the information that Google Blogger provides about MISTRESS MANIFESTO BLOGSPOT! Thanks to all my readers who make this a very successful blog!)
I want to tell you what the most popular posts have been and where readers are coming from!
Now, this doesn't mean that I'm overly swayed by what statistics have been. I would probably go on posting even if I had very little readership because this is fun for me.
I know that Mistresses are a fascinating subject. That's why there are so many books, movies, and television shows about Mistresses! Fiction and Not!
Karin Stanford, who had a relationship and child with Jesse Jackson Senior, is the once-upon-a-time mistress who is still getting the most hits! She is a successful college professor with a career of her own. I have no idea why!
Closely followed by a simple post called "Bob Hope's Girlfriends! That tells me that I better dedicate a whole month to that subject. (I've heard a lot about one of them, but you know there is a difference between a girlfriend, an affair, a fling, and a Mistress!)
Scott Thorson, the ex of Liberace who wrote his memoir about being a Kept Man that has been turned into a respected movie called "Behind the Candelabra" is also of very much interest to my readers! (I'm one of those people who has been rooting for Scott, and hoping he can overcome his addictions and win his bout with cancer too! He's had a hard life. My wish for him is peace of mind.)
Coco Chanel is also a long-time favorite! I think that's in part because she managed to create a whole fashion house though coming from such adversity and changed women's fashion to something more comfortable and modern.
Where are my readers reading from?
The United States overwhelmingly so. The United Kingdom, Russia, and Germany are next, closely tied are Canada and France. (I wish I knew if that was French Canada or not!) Latvia, for a small country, has checked in almost as much as Australia. Maybe I better find out where all the Mistresses are hiding in that country! Denmark and Italy are less interested than I would imagine but still checking in quite a bit!
A few individuals are checking in from Qatar, Japan, and Singapore. Maybe it's the write-ups I did on Jillian Lauren or Marilyn Young?

2012 : MISSY LOOKS BACK ON THIS YEARS POPULAR POSTS AND THINKS AHEAD TO 2013
I'm not going to elect a MISTRESS OF THE MONTH this month.
Not that there aren't more mistresses to write about!
Instead I decided to look at the Google Blogger stats and write about some of the most popular mistresses and posts over the last year!
This may surprise you, but Jesse Jackson Sr.'s, Karin Stanford (sometimes the spelling of her given name is Karen and sometimes you see her surname as Stafford but I think Stanford is right) seems to be the most popular!
As for this blog, MISTRESS MANIFESTO, no other mistress seems to have gotten as many hits! That makes Karen the most popular mistress that I've included in my pantheon.
Next, when it comes to number of hits is a brief mention of BOB HOPE'S GIRLFRIENDS. (I'll have to do more on that subject in 2013!)
In 2013 I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HEAR FROM MORE OF YOU and reach deeper into my mail bag! I'd love to give a few more people advice - or at least my point of view - but I know that so many of you are in the closet about your alternative lifestyle. I want to respect that, which is why almost all the mistresses I've written about are public, historical, or otherwise documented persons. I wouldn't out someone just because they wrote to me!
WE ARE STILL TRYING TO DEFINE "MISTRESS!"
We all seem to agree that a mistress is a kept woman who is involved with a married man and who receives substantial financial support from him, but we all know that a person, male or female, whatever their sexuality, can be a mistress (or mantress) without being involved with a married person. Some mistresses of very wealthy men will never have to work for a living in their lives, others are kept for a short period of time or are self supporting.
Yes, there are just so many different ways to be a mistress.
Yet there are some people that the media has or does label "mistress" who just never were. One of those people is Monica Lewinsky, who had an affair with President Bill Clinton while he was in office that appears to have been a one sided love. (You can read more about Monica by using the Google search feature installed on this blog! We can't wait to read the book she's working on!) A mere affair does not make a mistress!
Perhaps more than anything, being a mistress is a mentality, a way of looking at love and life, a choice for some and fate for others!

IS DENMARK A MISTRESS OASIS?
Over the last month DENMARK had hit this blog and that comparatively small country hit it half as much as the whole UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!
