NINA and FREDERIK - DANISH FOLK SINGERS and "SOCIETY KIDS DABBLING IN MUSIC" WHO BECAME "OVERNIGHT SENSATIONS"

Danish, and a series of records and albums that did well in Europe during the early 1960's especially, they were compared to the American folk singing trio Peter, Paul, and Mary, and despite first thought of as dabblers, became overnight sensations.

Nina was still married to her first husband Hugo Wessel, a man of leisure, who she had first dated while in college at USC in America, while he also attended college in Southern California, when she started singing with old family friend Frederik. After making such music together, and staring in two films, everyone wondered if they would marry. She quietly divorced Hugo and married Frederik, thereafter having three children with him in the early 1960's.
