He may tell you upfront that he will NEVER DIVORCE or NEVER EVER MARRY YOU, not so romantic, but he still might want to Keep you Happy, Supported,or maybe most of all, keep you from leaving him, or being with another person. So what if he (and his lawyer) met with you (and your lawyer) and he did the paperwork agreeing to Keep you for life? You'll have a nice house, not have to worry about what happens to you in old age, maybe send your children to good schools. You might never have to "worry" again about where your rent is coming from or what happens to you if you become ill...
