LORD HARTINGTON WEDS AMERICAN GIRL IN LONDON - A NOBLEMAN'S BRIDE

JOHN F. KENNEDY and HIS FAMILY - PHOTOS  check it out.  There are many of Kick!

From the Book Kick by Paula Byrne:

Notes from Page 78

The Ambassador's residence was a 52 room mansion with a huge ballroom that had Aubusson carpets.  But Joseph P. Kennedy, the Ambassador, and Kathleen's father, spent a quarter million of his own money to refurbish it.  The Kennedy family also brought their own cook as well as American foods like clam chowder and coffee... and he had 2000 bottles of champagne for his cellars and held dinners, lunches, and tea parties.

The Kennedys were made members of some of the most exclusive clubs and even visited Windsor castle where they met the King and Queen and their daughters Elizabeth (our present Queen) and her sister Margaret.
