HOLLYWOODLAND The Movie And THE KEPT MAN

Want to see the depiction of a Hollywood Kept Man in a movie?

Writer Paul Birnbaum wrote HOLLYWOODLAND, which came out in 2006 as a detective thriller movie about the suspicious death (suicide or murder) of actor George Reeves, who was a television Superman.

Now what you'll find fascinating here is the story of a Hollywood studio executive, his wife, his mistress, and George - who was a "kept" man (she bought him a house for starters) - who all know about each other enough to dine out together. In fact, the husband not only indulges his wife with the money to keep another man, but he himself is loyal if not faithful.
